2022-2023 Open Enrollment

What is Open Enrollment?

Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to add, change, or remove benefits enrollment elections for the next plan year. Elections made during open enrollment are effective on January 1st of the following year. Outside the annual open enrollment period, employees may only make changes to their benefits elections within 30 days of a  qualifying status change event.

Open Enrollment is the period each year when you may make changes to your medical, dental, and vision benefits without a qualified change in your family status (a Section 125 "Life Status Change Event"). Use this once-a-year opportunity to review your health care needs and make any changes necessary! Now is also the time to enroll in a 2023 Flexible Spending Account! If you want a 2023 Flexible Spending Account, you must take action.

Open Enrollment will begin on November 9th. The deadline to make changes to your benefits is November 23.

The effective date for any changes that you make during Open Enrollment is January 1, 2023. Please note: If you do not need to make changes for 2023, no action is required, unless you want a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2023. The Flexible Spending Account (FSA) requires re-enrollment every year. If you would like to enroll or continue enrollment in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are required to re-enroll for 2022.

If you have any questions about open enrollment or your benefits, please reach out to the Office of People & Culture.
